Leanne 0–3 EDUCATOR

ECHIDNA Classroom |  EARLY LEARNERS

0–3 EDUCATOR Leanne brings warmth, experience and deep respect for early childhood to the Echidna classroom. With a Degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Montessori 0–3 Diploma, she is continually inspired by the extraordinary growth of the early years and values supporting each child’s emerging sense of self.

“I am passionate about creating a calm, respectful Montessori environment where young children feel secure, valued and free to explore their world. In the 0–3 classroom, I aim to nurture trust and connection so that each child can develop confidence, independence and a deep sense of belonging.

I hold a Degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Montessori Diploma (0–3). My professional learning also includes Orientation to Adolescence, RIE Foundations, and Orff Schulwerk Level 1, reflecting my interest in respectful care, child development and the role of music and creativity in learning.

What continues to inspire me about working with young children is the remarkable developmental expansion that occurs during these early years. Children are learning so much about themselves and the world around them, building understandings that will stay with them throughout their lives. Montessori helps us recognise and respond to each child with deep respect and appreciation for their humanity from the very beginning.

I have been part of the MMC community since October 2018 and feel privileged to support children and families during this important stage of life.”
