How to Apply
As an open-entry, co-educational school for students from 18 months to Year 12, Melbourne Montessori College welcomes applications for all year levels at all times. To support you, the following guide explains what you may experience as you prepare to join our community.
01 / STEP
Learn More
One of the best ways to truly understand the Montessori difference is to see students at work. Please attend an upcoming Small Group Tour to see our classrooms in action and learn more about what a Montessori education has to offer. You can also visit our Facebook page and our YouTube channel.
02 / STEP
Submit an application to enrol
Places at our school typically fill quickly, so it’s best to submit an Application for Enrolment form soon. Submitting an application is easy, simply click here (or use the button below) to access our online Application for Enrolment form.
Parent and Toddler Group or Early Learners applicants, please go directly to Step 5 after completing an application to enrol.
03 / STEP
Interview
Once we are ready to proceed with your application, you may be invited for an interview with our Principal. This is an informal opportunity to get to know one another — there is no test!
An interview is not required for our Parent and Toddler Group or Early Learners Program.
04 / STEP
Trial Experience
All Melbourne Montessori College applicants participate in a trial experience. Our minimum requirement for Junior School is three days and five days for Senior School. A trial is not required for Cycle 1, Parent and Toddler Group or Early Learners Program.
05 / STEP
Letter of Offer:
Once the trial is complete, we may offer you a place at our school. To accept, complete and return the Enrolment Acceptance by the specified deadline. In accordance with our Business Notice and Terms and Conditions, a non-refundable, non-transferable Acceptance Fee of $2,000.00 is required to secure your enrolment. The Acceptance Fee is not applicable for entry to Parent and Toddler Group or Early Learners Program, however the Early Years Agreement is required.
