With a Master of Teaching in Early Childhood and Primary Education, Lily brings a strong educational foundation to her role as Learning Assistant. She is passionate about supporting children to become independent and confident learners, recognising individual strengths and interests while creating a calm, respectful environment where children can develop at their own pace.
“I am a Learning Assistant and have been part of Melbourne Montessori College since May 2025. I hold a Master of Teaching in Early Childhood and Primary Education.
What I enjoy most about working with children is having the opportunity to support them to become independent and confident learners. I value seeing each child’s individual strengths, interests and progress, and preparing the environment to support them to develop at their own pace.
My approach is to create a safe, calm, respectful and inviting environment that encourages children to take ownership of their learning. I enjoy giving children opportunities to explore and learn with different age groups, while helping to build a peaceful, supportive and helpful community.“
