Caterina is a Learning Assistant in Cycle 1 (3 and 4-year – old Kinder and Prep) and has been part of MMC for 14 years. She holds a Diploma and Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and brings experience, care and commitment to her work with children.
“I have been part of MMC for 14 years, including three years in the Balam Balam Room, one of MMC’s 3 and 4-year old Kinder and Prep classrooms, where I work as a Learning Assistant. Over this time, I have enjoyed supporting children in developing independence and confidence through hands-on learning experiences.
An important part of my role is observing each child carefully and guiding their learning according to their individual interests and developmental needs. I also value building positive relationships with children and supporting their social and emotional development in a respectful environment.
I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis Training. These qualifications, together with my experience at MMC, support me in my role as I work alongside the children each day.”
