She brings six years of staff experience at MMC, alongside 11 years as a parent, and creates a joyful, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, empathy and a love of learning.”
“I am a teacher in a 3 and 4-year-old Kinder and Prep classroom and have been part of Melbourne Montessori College for six years as a staff member, as well as 11 years as a parent. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Diploma of Montessori Education (3–6).
What I love most about working with children is the joy and presence they bring to each day. Their curiosity, creativity and authentic way of seeing the world inspire me to keep learning and growing alongside them. Watching children discover their strengths, celebrate their achievements and grow in confidence is a privilege. Their resilience, honesty and enthusiasm continually remind me to approach each day with optimism, openness and a love of learning.
In my classroom, I hope every child feels welcomed, respected and excited to learn. I believe joy and enthusiasm are at the heart of meaningful learning, and I aim to create a positive and nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore, ask questions and embrace new challenges.
