Discovering the wonderful world of Montessori mathematics

Our recent World of Montessori Mathematics Information Night was a huge success with more than 80 people taking part!

Teachers from all levels and parents joined together and collaborated to complete some hands-on multiplication activities.

Parents had a lot of fun using the Montessori mathematical equipment and there were lots of ‘ah ha’ moments as they discovered the art of maths and multiplication.

Everyone appreciated how the specific Montessori materials support each child’s mathematical journey and many parents were astounded by the depth of the concepts that their children are exploring.

Thank you to staff who contributed lessons and to the parents who attended. It was wonderful to see so many people so enthusiastic about mathematics.
