Language Information Night Uncovers The Secrets Of Good Grammar
- News
The recent Language Information Night attracted 40 parents who learned about how we teach Grammar to children in Cycle One to Cycle Three.
Our teachers, Rebecca, Yasmin and Melinda, explained key terms such as ‘grammar’ – the systems and rules that govern the relationship of words, parts of words, phrases and sentences, and syntax, which is the arrangement of words to relay complex concepts.
These two mechanisms allow us to put our thoughts into spoken and written forms and to communicate clearly.
The parents tried some hands-on language activities with our Montessori materials and asked lots of interesting questions.
Thank you to all who made this successful event possible.
