What is the IB Learner Profile?

The IB Learner Profile is at the heart of the IB philosophy and the starting point for all subjects, the IB core and the way teachers and students approach their teaching and learning.
In accordance with the Montessori philosophy, it places the student at the centre of all learning and creates the opportunities for them to grow and develop as a person.
At the start of the first year of IB, our students are introduced to the IB Learner Profile and how to become inquiring, knowledgeable and reflective thinkers, principled yet openminded communicators, and balanced, caring risk-takers.
