MMC Senior School Scholarships
MMC and the MMC Foundation are proud to provide one MMC Junior School student a MMC Senior School Scholarship for entry into our College at Year 7.
This scholarship is a full fee scholarship and will endure until completion of Year 12.
The scholarship is committed to diversity and inclusion by supporting an MMC Junior School student who is unable to continue their education at the MMC Senior School.
Applicants must demonstrate sound academic ability and embody the Montessori values of respect of self and others, acceptance of the uniqueness and dignity of the individual, kindness, peacefulness, compassion, empathy, honour, individual responsibility, independence, and courage to speak from the heart.
This scholarship is a full fee scholarship and will endure until completion of Year 12.
Families will be asked to confirm on-going financial need ahead of the scholarship being renewed each year.
MMC Senior School Scholarships are open to applicants who are:
- existing MMC students in Year 5 or Year 6 in 2025 (scholarship to be awarded in the year the student commences Year 7)
- citizens or permanent residents of Australia at the time of application
- able to demonstrate, through supporting documentation, evidence of financial need
- Applicants must complete and submit the MMC Scholarship Application Form before the closing date.
- Each student requires an individual application, including families applying for multiple students.
- The applicant’s family must show intent to keep the child/ren enrolled at Melbourne Montessori College.
- Completed applications to be sent to the MMC School Registrar (enrolments@mmc.vic.edu.au).
- Shortlisted applicants will attend an interview with the MMC Principal. An invitation to attend this interview does not indicate your application has been successful.
- Applications are assessed and all applicants will be notified of the outcome.

Monday 28 April: MMC Scholarship applications open
Friday 11 July: MMC Scholarship applications close, midnight
Monday 14 July – Friday 25 July: MMCSF Application Assessment Committee assess application for MMC Scholarship interviews
Monday 28 July – 15 August: MMC Scholarship interviews and trials
12 September: Notification of outcome to all MMC Scholarship applicants (successful/unsuccessful)
25 September: Scholarship acceptance deadline
26 September: Second round offers to MMC applicants close
2026
Term 1, 2026 or Term 1 2027 depending on cohort: Students commence
