MMC Foundation Gift Giving Appeal 2023 – we raised $30,021!
Thank you to our generous donors.
Thank you to the many members of our school community and to our alumni who donated to the MMC Foundation Giving Gift Appeal last year. You all helped us reach our target.
Each year the MMC Foundation holds an annual fundraising event or a community event to bring our school community and alumni families together.
In the past, we held a 24-hour appeal that raised over $115,000 to establish the MMC Scholarships Program (2020), and a Spring Fair with the Parents’ Association (2022) to support Caulfield Library.
In 2023, our target was to raise $30,000 to transform the original church building at the Brighton Campus into a new learning and performing arts precinct.
Making our campuses a powerful learning statement is a key part of our Towards 500 Strategic Plan. The first step is creating a new learning and performing arts precinct to include the MMC Theatre, the cornerstone of our Performing Arts program. There will also be a new mezzanine level Library that will offer a place for study, learning and to embrace the joy of literature.
Melbourne Montessori College has thrived over the past 50 years thanks to the substantial financial and in-kind support of our generous school community. This tradition continues, with current students, families and staff being the beneficiaries of our alumni legacy. Future generations of our Melbourne Montessori College community will also benefit from the successful MMC Foundation Gift Giving 2023 Appeal.
